How CLP personalisation works

Creating compliant CLP labels is simple. Each label is personalised using the information you provide, and formatted to meet UK CLP Regulation (Classification, Labelling and Packaging) requirements.

What I do for you

• I generate a CLP layout based on your chosen fragrance, using the templates provided by your oil supplier.

• All required elements are included: hazard statements, warning statements, signal word, pictograms, and supplier details.

• Your business name and address are inserted exactly as provided.

• Text spacing, font size and layout are adjusted to keep the label clear, readable and compliant.

What you need to provide

• The fragrance name or chemical name

• Your business name and address (as it must appear on the label)

• Any additional information required for your specific product

Why this matters

Accurate CLP labelling ensures your products are safe, compliant and ready for sale. Every personalised CLP label is checked to ensure it includes the correct information for your chosen fragrance and product type.

What You’ll Receive

Beautifully printed, fully-legible CLP labels designed specifically for UK home-fragrance makers. Every label is produced using the exact data from the fragrance manufacturer’s SDS, ensuring accuracy and consistency across your products.

Your label will include the following CLP elements if required by your fragrance’s SDS and regulatory classification.

Your order includes:

  • Professionally typeset CLP labels in your chosen size and finish
  • The correct hazard information for your selected fragrance
  • Your business name and address (exactly as entered)
  • Optional UFI and batch number if provided
  • Clear, crisp print suitable for candles, wax melts and home-fragrance packaging

How Compliance Works

Every fragrance has its own SDS, which determines what goes on the label. This means no two CLPs are guaranteed to look the same — and that’s exactly how it should be.

Your label will include (where applicable):

  • Hazard pictogram(s)
  • Signal word
  • Hazard statements
  • Precautionary statements
  • Allergens
  • Supplier name & address
  • UFI (if supplied)
  • Batch number (if supplied)

If a fragrance triggers no hazards or allergens, your label will correctly display only the information required for a non-hazardous product.

Small Label Clarification

Non-mandatory statements (e.g. secondary safety advice, optional extras) may be omitted on very small labels to keep text legible.

Mandatory CLP elements are never removed.

Personalisation

All content is printed exactly as entered in your order form.

Please double-check:

  • Spelling of your fragrance name
  • Your business name & address
  • Any UFI or batch number you want included

These details override any defaults, so accuracy is important.

Print Quality

  • High-resolution professional print
  • Excellent colour density
  • Durable label stocks chosen for home-fragrance use
  • Adhesive strengthens over 24 hours for best performance

The example label shown demonstrates some layouts and styles.

Your label will display the correct hazards, allergens and statements for the fragrance you select — which may be
more, less, or none, depending on the SDS.
